  1. I am looking for the name of and a picture of the restaurant that used to be at the intersection of rt. 90 and rt. 5 &20 where nice n easy is now. I’m particularly interested in the 1950’s

    1. Thanks for your inquiry. We do not have a photo of the restaurant, nor do I know the name of it. Do you know what the owner’s name was? I will make some inquiries to see if anyone remembers the name.

        1. Did a bit of research on the restaurant called Free Bridge Restaurant It was owned and operated in 1930’s – 50’s by Mary B. Brown and Claude Jackson from Cortland; but also it was operated during part of that time by James Cefaratti, brother to Lucia Giardina, John Giardina’s (town supervisor) mother. Cefaratti retired in 1947 prior to his death the following year. Later in 1967 a Liquor license was granted to Orazio Marcuccilli with grand opening advertised under new management; and again, in 1976, remodeled and re-opened. I haven’t come up with any pictures yet!
