  • Winter Hours Now in Effect – 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • The staff is on call for snow plowing duty 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

  • Please do not park on the street during the winter season as it hinders snow removal.

2024 MONTEZUMA TOWN SPRING CLEAN-UP DAY

FRIDAY, APRIL 19, 6 AM-6 PM SATURDAY, APRIL 20, 6 AM-2 PM

All trash must be brought to the Town Highway Department (Chapman Road off High Street) for disposal. There will be no door- to-door pick-up. Below is a list of items that will NOT be accepted.

  1. No Mattresses or box springs
  2. Nothing that can hold water unless it’s cut in half
  3. No Large amounts of building materials
  4. No Paint cans UNLESS THEY ARE DRIED OUT
  5. No oil or any other hazardous material    
  6. No Refrigerators and freezers
  7. No Air conditioners
  8. No Propane Tanks
  9. No electronics of any type
  10. No Tires or auto parts of any kind
  11. No household clean outs or everyday Garbage
  12. No grass or brush clippings (Use Town Brush Pile)
  13. No animal waste of any kind

The Highway Department has the right to restrict and refuse any load. Loads will be limited. Anyone caught abusing this privilege will be banned from the event.

Senior Citizens/Handicapped/Disabled Persons Pick Up

Senior/Disabled Persons Pickup will be limited to two small dump truck loads.

THURSDAY, APRIL 18, 2024

Seniors, handicapped or disabled persons needing pickup must leave items out by the curb and notify the Highway Department by calling 315-776-4315, by MONDAY, APRIL 15TH. Please leave your name, home address, and phone number either on the answering machine or with whoever answers your call.

The town reserves the right to limit amounts. This service is provided for Town of Montezuma Residents ONLY
